Customize your Android Browser to show desktop version of webpages
Worry no more, we’ve got a workaround for it. Here’s a tutorial with images for you! Read on!
Open Android Browser and click on the top right (as the white arrow points).
From the dropped down menu, choose Settings.
Now a Settings page pops up, choose Advanced from the left and then click on the User agent string.
There you see, by default it’s ticked Tablet, now choose Desktop. And that’s it, you’re all set!
Now, in case you’re using Dolphin Web Browser for Pad, then we’ll go pretty much the same way, and again, simply choose Desktop under the User Agent.
If setupping the Dolphin or Android Browser is too much for you, go for the Pad version on Maxthon or Firefox 6.0, as their default settings are all set for Desktop.
All this was tested on a Asus EEE Pad Transformer running Honeycomb 3.2
